Today in class we were separated into two groups, one of which was working on the transom with brenden and the other is working on the keel of the boat, we learned alot of different ways to connect the wood together. For example, we used the butt joint, lap joint and biscuit joint. In brendan"s group they were actually creating some of the joint, today was was really cool because I went around and it was cool to see their serious, enthuastic, and working expressions. As the day continued it was really fun and we learned many things about the ships. Ray's group was making a part of the boat called the keel whcih is like the backbone  of the boat. The class was interesting and fun and Im glad I was able to observe from a different perspective.
